The MVR III is a product of our partners UAVPro. It is a rugged,
lightweight and self-powered device. With its small size, it fits easily in a
soldier backpack giving every soldier the capability to directly receive
live video from almost every system currently used in theater, including
Lockheed Martin Sniper pod, Lighting pod, aircrafts, ground vehicles
and unmanned systems. The MVR III is very easy to use. It can
automatically scan and lock on transmitting frequencies or a particular
frequency can be set manually. Having metadata video overlay
capability, the MVR III does not need an additional laptop. It runs
several hours on its own battery or can run continuously with an
external power source. It is weatherproof and has a sunlight readable
5.7 screen with video output for recording, virtual glasses or other
display. The standard MVR III unit cost starts at $15,000 and currently
supports customer's choice of any three of the following bands: L, S,
lower C or upper C. The MVR III also offers the option to be modified
upon request to receive other bands. Additional options are video
testers, vehicle mounting plates with external antennas and multiple
power supplies, including 220V.
