The Atlantic is an all-composite UAV designed to be quickly
deployed and capable of providing a persistent presence over
a wide geographical area. Its high reliability and ease of of
operation enable a 24h orbit to be established with a reduced
number of aircraft and a minimal number of crew. The Atlantic
can take off from a conventional grass or paved runway or it
can be launched from an optional compact pneumatic catapult.
The catapult can be towed by any standard-sized vehicle. The
aircraft has a maximum payload capacity of 22 Lbs allowing a
variety of payload combination. The aircraft has an endurance
of 6+h, a range of 80+Km, is fully autonomous and is powered
by a gasoline engine.
